Zonta Club of Everett President, Isbell Junitla from Erickson Furniture(pictured right) and Zonta International District 8 Governor, Cindy Phillips of Unity Insurance (pictured left) presented Bhuvana Srinivasan of Thailand one of the 2007 Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship Awards at the program meeting of the Zonta Club of Everett on Thursday, September 20th.
| Description: | Bhuvana Srinivasan, was born in India and moved with her family to Thailand She has been interested in aerospace and engineering and space exploration since the young age of 10. She attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and received two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering graduating in 2004.
She is currently in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department at the University of Washington. Since receiving her Masters’ at the U of W she is currently pursuing her PhD in the same field.
